MUNICIPAL ADVISORY AND CONSULTING SERVICES

The Branch provides advisory and consulting services to elected and appointed municipal officials on most aspects of municipal administration, operations and governance. This includes delivering education and training to elected and appointed municipal officials and maintaining a comprehensive procedures manual.

Relevant legislation includes The Municipal Act, The Local Government Districts Act, The City of Winnipeg Act, The Municipal Council Conflict of Interest Act, and The Municipal Councils and School Boards Elections Act.
