MUNICIPAL FINANCIAL SERVICES
The Branch provides advice and training to municipalities to support local government's effective
management of their financial resources (both operating and capital). Statistical information
is prepared to provide relevant and useful comparative information respecting all Manitoba
municipalities. Legislative requirements are also monitored including independent audits of
municipal finances and operating deficits.
