Statistical Information for Municipalities Statistical information for Manitoba municipalities is published each year, and is compiled from audited financial statements of all municipalities. This information assists municipalities to assess their performance, including relative to other municipalities, and make changes that promote sustainable local government. For the first time, this year's publication reflects Public Sector Accounting Board financial reporting standards. The statements are consolidated for the municipality and its owned or controlled organizations, providing a comprehensive picture of the municipality's position. As a result, the information is not comparable to that provided in previous years' publications.
